This week, I sit down with the iconic founder & CEO of KORA Organics, Miranda Kerr. We follow her journey from supermodel to wellness leader and what sparked her passion for the clean beauty movement. We examine what makes a brand truly “clean” and what you should actually be looking for when choosing the products you use on a daily basis. From her favorite daily nourishment rituals to getting your best REM sleep every night, this episode encourages you to give yourself the very best in all areas of your life.

Miranda was born and raised in the small country town of Gunnedah, Australia. Surrounded by farmland and nature, she grew up in a family that prioritized organic and natural living, cultivating her passion for health and wellness at a young age.

Best known for her celebrated international modelling career, Miranda’s introduction into the world of fashion came unexpectedly in 1997, when at age 13 a friend entered her into a modelling competition. Miranda’s win sparked significant media attention and she soon became the most sought-after new face in Australia. After graduating high school, Miranda began modelling internationally and established herself as one of the most in demand and influential faces in the world of fashion and beauty. She’s worked with every major fashion house, been featured in numerous global campaigns, graced the covers of hundreds of international magazines and was the first and only Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel.

An accomplished entrepreneur and trailblazer for what is now widely known as the ‘clean beauty’ movement, Miranda is the Founder & CEO of leading certified organic skincare brand KORA Organics. Miranda self-funded and launched KORA Organics in her home country of Australia in 2009 and began global expansion of the brand in 2017. Today the award-winning skincare range is now sold across 30 countries and continues to dominate the clean beauty space, being the only global certified organic skincare brand.

Miranda’s eye for design, art and interiors has allowed her several successful collaborations, including her recently launched Miranda Kerr Home furniture collection with Universal Furniture, which consists of nearly 50 furnishings for living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and office. Her global design collaboration, Miranda Kerr for Royal Albert, features tea sets, tableware and glassware. Miranda has also previously designed a capsule fashion collection with Mother Denim and a best-selling jewelry line with Swarovski. In everything she designs, Miranda strives create products with positive intention and meaning.

Beyond her business endeavors, Miranda is a dedicated supporter of numerous causes relating to women, children, health, equality and the environment. She supports various charities including Equal Justice Initiative, NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Harvest Home, Save the Koalas, The Royal Hospital for Women and Australia’s number one 24/7 support line for children, Kids Helpline. Throughout 2020, Miranda and her husband donated to various charities in Australia to help with the rebuild and recovery of the 2020 wildfires. They also donated to charities and initiatives helping those most impacted by COVID19, as well as campaign efforts to raise money and donate supplies to medical workers on the frontlines.

Miranda lives in Los Angeles with her husband Evan Spiegel and her three sons, Flynn, Hart and Myles.
