In this episode of The Art of Being Well, I am joined by Dr. Tiffany Moon - board-certified anesthesiologist, founder of multiple wellness brands, and the first Chinese American cast member on The Real Housewives of Dallas. Tiffany shares her personal journey through burnout, the pressure to be perfect, and how she came out the other side with a completely new perspective on joy, success, and connection. We talk about her upcoming book Joy Prescriptions, her life in and beyond reality TV, and what it means to prioritize emotional and mental health in a culture that celebrates constant productivity. If you’ve ever felt the weight of unrealistic expectations, this episode will give you permission to breathe, reset, and reconnect with what matters most.
Tiffany Moon, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, mother of twins, and author of the upcoming book, Joy Prescriptions: How I Learned to Stop Chasing Perfection and Embrace Connection (May 6, 2025, Legacy Lit). She is also the founder and CEO of Aromasthesia Candles, Three Moons Wine, and LeadHer Summit.
Dr. Moon has published over fifty peer-reviewed publications, is one of D Magazine’s “Best Doctors,” serves as an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Anesthesiology, and is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Texas’s Southwestern Medical Center (https://utswmed.org/doctors/tiffany-moon/). Tiffany was the first medical doctor and Chinese American cast member on Bravo’s Real Housewives and her story has been featured in Forbes, Variety, Harper’s Bazaar, USA Today, and more.
