Despite years of devotion to wellness, mindfulness practice, and eating what society deemed a meticulous diet, I found myself on my knees, physically and emotionally exasperated when salvation appeared in the form of Dr. Cole. In my early 40s my formerly pristine skin presented with painful rosacea, my hormones and digestion went haywire, and a multitude of autoimmune symptoms besieged my very confused body. I consider myself a pretty savvy girl, who knows how to take care of herself, so I hit every medical specialist under the sun, read all about my my numerous symptoms on the internet, and launched a rigorous plan to heal myself. I assumed discipline and logic would be enough to reclaim wellness. You will not be surprised to hear that my strict plan blew up in my face, literally. I was given numerous prescriptions which accomplished two things, exacerbating my present symptoms or creating new problems. I was bewildered, depressed, and angry, I felt excluded from the wellness community, which I idolized. Every cleanse and diet that had gained widespread success failed to alleviate my disease. The loneliness was unbearable. My quality of life was decreasing on a daily basis, and the I foresaw a future of declining health and happiness. Alas, I found myself in my initial consultation with Dr. Cole, where he asked me what I needed from him. I responded by saying “I need you to find the missing link, the needle in the haystack. I know I can heal, I just don’t know how.” He clearly explained the science behind my suffering, and gave me the answers to my endless questions in lab reports. I had met my match, as this doctor HEARD my pain and most importantly offered me a clear path out. He did what I feared was impossible and found the needle. Dr. Cole and his team met me where I was on my wellness journey by offering support, encouragement, and redirection when necessary. My diet and healing protocol is designed for the optimal health and wellness of my body. Dr. Cole inspired me to invite grace and trust into my healing, and the results have far exceeded my hopes. I never imagined I could feel this good! It should be noted that my skin is healthy and glowing, as is my spirit! I am so proud to be a patient and look forward to the next part of my journey with this wonder team.
