I started this program with three objectives/hopes: relief from my chronic headaches, to stop the weight gain, and maybe lose a few pounds, and to ease the fatigue/brain fog. My headaches lessened and stay away unless I veer off the diet. I have lost 20 pounds (back to my normal weight), and my brain is clearer (I can concentrate for longer and don’t need to take naps). I want the energy that I had when I was younger, but it will take longer to heal. Surprisingly, my knee and shoulder pain disappeared. I wasn’t expecting that, but the pain melted away.
Yes, the diet is an adjustment, but easy doesn’t work. The answer is not in a pill – the answer is to stop inflicting the damage in our bad diets. So make the change, stick with it, give it time.
Ryanne was my coach. She was great, although all the coaches are helpful. The group calls are a good forum to ask questions and relate to everyone else’s challenges. The Facebook page provides a lot of information and keeps you motivated. Plan to work and work the plan.
