Before I met with Dr. Cole, I had started to accept my ubiquitous symptoms that were painful, exhausting, and life-hindering as “normal”. I was scared to meet with a doctor via zoom, and not in person; but Dr. Cole has made me feel seen and heard since my first virtual appointment with him and has truly taken the time to help me uncover every stone so I can heal my root cause. Though healing the right way takes time, and it hasn’t always felt easy during a global pandemic, I’ve found solace in knowing that I am doing it under the support and guidance of someone who is in my corner. He has always treated me like an individual not a statistic; it’s pretty rare you get to work with a doctor that is both compassionate for their patients, yet great at what they do. I look forward to the day I am totally healed, and for once, that feels like a tangible reality in my future.
