I have struggled with my health for over 20 years. That’s half my life. I have spent so much money and worked with over 50 doctors. Each one would try and put a bandaid on my symptoms. Not once did a doctor look at my body as a whole. I refused to just accept that living with chronic pain and exhaustion was the life that had been chosen for me. According to doctors since many relatives in my family suffer from autoimmune disease I must too. I was told countless times that I cannot prevent this disease. This did not settle well with me. With no scientific explanation or support, with no full body evaluation, I was told to just live my life the best I could and take medication to manage the pain. I understand the importance of genetics in helping me finding the “why” in the equation, why I have this disease. I needed the “what”, what can be done about it. Dr. Cole and his amazing medical team gave me the “What”. They dug deep and found within weeks what no other doctor has been able to do for me over the last 20 years. They found the missing link. The one that nobody else even considered or was willing to take the time to. I have been following Dr.Cole’s “what” plan (not a real plan, just what I call it). “what” can I do, “what” steps do I take next, “what” Is happening with my body, “what” can I control, “what” will make me feel my best. When you shift your mindset from “what” can this doctor do for me, to “what” can I do to help myself, true healing begins. Dr. Cole and his team are knowledgeable, kind, supportive, prompt, and encouraging. I feel like I have been treated as a person, not number. If you are considering work with Dr. Cole and his team only do so if you are truly prepared to put the work into healing yourself, no magic pill will be subscribed. Some may say ignorance is bliss, I think ignorance is sickness. Knowledge is power, and power is healing. Thank you Dr.Cole and your whole team for giving me my power back. Changed my life forever.
