Having trouble falling or staying asleep or wake up feeling exhausted? Restorative sleep is not a luxury, it is a mandate on your health. This week, I sit down with my good friends, Jordan and Zac Stenmark. As international models and successful businessmen, the Stenmark twins have spent the last years diving into the science of sleep.  Almost everyone is exposed to artificial bluelight everyday through our personal electronic devices. Bluelight exposure hinders the body's ability to naturally produce melatonin, leaving us feeling wired, tired and can seriously mess up the quality and quantity of our sleep. Listen to find out how to get the best night’s sleep you’ve had in your life.

Discovered by Tom Ford while studying Economics at Sydney University, Jordan & Zac Stenmark launched their careers with 60 pages in the world-renowned French magazine L’Officiel Hommes. They made their international catwalk debut exclusively opening & closing 2013 Calvin Klein show Spring/ Summer at Milan Fashion Week.

Jordan & Zac have worked with the biggest names, brands and publications in the business including Mario Testino, Bruce Webber, Terry Richardson, Carine Roitfeld. Some of the brands include Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Apple, Mercedes Benz, Rolex & a billboard in Time square for American Eagle. Print credits include covers and editorial for GQ, Vanity Fair, L’Officiel Hommes, Vogue Hommes Japan, Hercules and various others.

In 2015, they were awarded the prestigious “GQ Men of Style” Award.  Jordan and Zac have enjoyed on-going partnerships with Tommy Hilfiger and Qantas Airlines. They continue to grow their influence across a broad range of areas.

Known for their down-to-earth Australian attitude and strong work ethic, they have the ability to channel both commercial & high fashion. Both Jordan & Zac featured for many weeks on the 13th season of Dancing with the Stars Australia and in 2016, Jordan & Zac appeared as mentors in the 10th season of Australia’s Next Top Model.

They made their return to the runway by a personal invitation from Mr. Giorgio Armani to appear in his Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show in Milan.

In 2020, Jordan and Zac became Friends of Australia along with brand ambassadors for La Roche Posay.

While living and working in New York pursuing Film, TV and Entrepreneurial opportunities with the global support from arguably the world’s largest talent agent IMG/WME. Jordan and Zac have spent the last 5 year inventing a globally patented sleep eyewear product ‘Dreamers’, the sleep company launched world-wide this year with a great response from Media and securing collaboration partnerships with Lancôme, Slip and Amex. Along with having a strong conversation with Military and Sporting bodies, corporations, Hospitals and Educational institutions.

A few of my favorite things we cover this episode:

  • The effects that bluelight exposure has on our bodies
  • The effects of poor sleep and how this pays a tool on our mental and physical wellness
  • How long it takes for a wearer of Dreamers to notice a difference in their wellness
